Visiting Lyon with friends

♡ Visiting Vieux Lyon ♡

This sunday, one of my friend hosted our last summer meet.
We first planned to visit a museum, as they're free the first sunday of the month, sadly with covid they apparently no longer do that. We also had plan to go to a chocolate bar, but they didn't take reservations, despite the fact that we were 11 and that the place is really small.
So the day before the meet, we decided to change plans. We would visit the oldest part of the city, then go to another chocolate bar (The Diggers) we've never been to that accepted our last minute reservation.

We all met outside the subway station, where I suggested to host a tour of the neighboorhood. I love this part of the city, and all the little secrets it hides, so I was thrilled when everyone accepted to do it.

In France, we don't have to wear the mask outside anymore, and all our group was fully vaccinated.

Despite a few annoying men, the whole thing was super nice and apparently everyone liked the tour!

We then went to the café to relax after the visit, crossing one of the city's many bridges. I love walking around the city with a full flock of lolita friends : I feel like it's easier to deal with the attention we inevitably get.

The café was quite nice, and offered some unique drinks.
We had plenty of room and the waiters were super friendly.  I really want to return to try there their "mi-cuit" chocolate cake. All in all, I really recommand the Diggers.

As Clémentine was super tired and joined us only for the café, we had to take more coord pictures (which was a good news for me, as I forgot to remove my mask the first time, and we hadn't take any group picture)

I wore my Versailles embroidery JSK once again, but coordinated with black and I love the result!
My only complaint is that I would have loved to have black peaking bloomers but it gives me an excuse to rewear this coord once I make some.

After taking these pics, we shared some old dramas and then I went home with my friend (she lives really close by). We took some more pictures on the way back (which you can see on my instagram), and then spent an extra hour talking about life and stuff.

I'm super glad I got to hang out with everyone, and in the end this change of plan allowed us to enjoy the nice weather.
